BreakBeatCode Hackathon

Friday May 31st

10am-2pm ET

Join us for this event, and you could walk away with a PS5 or Nintendo Switch, and have your remix featured on YouTube and Hot97

You’re invited to our upcoming BreakBeatCode Hackathon on Friday, May 31st 10am-2pm ET, with special guest star Supernatural, the GOAT of freestyle hip hop. This event will be livestreamed and open to anyone to join. No prior coding or music experience required.

What is a BreakBeatCode Hackathon? The BreakBeatCode Hackathon is a free livestream event where students ages 9 and up will learn how to create music with code using EarSketch, a free educational programming environment developed first at Georgia Tech.

By the end of the Hackathon, students will have created their first remixes. Their music will be played during the live performance with special guest star Supernatural, the GOAT of freestyle hip hop. Students who participate in the event and share their work will have a chance to win prizes for Best New for first time participants or Best Returning Artist-Engineer for participants from prior Hackathons.
